Singapore – Sea Limited has adopted the NVIDIA Vera Rubin platform, according to the Singapore-founded technology group. The move is aimed at strengthening Sea’s artificial intelligence capabilities as it looks to serve consumers and small businesses across Southeast Asia.

Sea’s businesses, which include the Garena, Monee, and Shopee platforms, together serve hundreds of millions of users. The company says it has already deployed AI across these platforms to make its services more useful and accessible.

With the addition of NVIDIA Vera Rubin, Sea plans to build on that foundation by developing and deploying AI models and intelligent agents at a larger scale.

On Shopee, the e-commerce arm of the business, AI is reportedly being used to help sellers cut down on the time and effort needed to create product listings.

The technology is also said to be improving product discovery and deepening customer engagement, while supporting more informed business decisions.

According to Sea, these capabilities allow small and medium-sized enterprises across Southeast Asia, many of which operate with limited resources, to access enterprise-grade AI tools once reserved for larger corporations.

Meanwhile, at Monee, the company’s digital financial services division, AI is being applied to fraud detection and credit risk assessment.

Sea says this supports Monee’s goal of delivering digital financial services that are simple, accessible and inclusive.

The company adds that these capabilities could broaden access to financial tools for small businesses and consumers who remain underserved by traditional financial institutions.

Over at Garena, Sea’s digital entertainment and video game division, AI is being used to enhance gaming experiences.

This, in turn, supports the company’s stated efforts to build online spaces that are engaging, inclusive and safe for players.

Looking ahead, NVIDIA Vera Rubin is expected to provide the computing infrastructure needed to build on these efforts.

Sea says the platform will help the company accelerate innovation, scale its AI applications more broadly, and deepen its impact on the communities it serves across the region.
