Singapore – Salesforce has expanded its Agentforce Coworker offering with new AI capabilities, integrations and applications for Microsoft Teams, mobile and desktop, following a 21-fold increase in usage over three months.
The company said more than 185,000 users are using Coworker, with organisations including The Adecco Group extending its deployment across their operations. The new features are intended to help employees delegate multi-step business tasks, coordinate specialised AI agents and access relevant enterprise information through a single interface.
Coworker uses existing Salesforce records, business metadata and connected data through Data 360 to provide business context. It can coordinate Agentforce agents, workflows and supported business actions, while operating within applicable employee permissions and configured access controls.
For example, a sales employee can ask Coworker to review an at-risk renewal. The system can gather relevant service history, identify unresolved cases, prepare customer follow-up and coordinate supported actions through the appropriate agents and workflows.
“The next era of enterprise AI isn’t about giving users more agents to manage,” said James Nakashima, SVP for Product Management at Salesforce.
“It’s about giving them one Coworker that brings the right agents together to get work done. What makes this powerful for Salesforce customers is that Coworker starts with their business context, works within the security and permissions they already trust, and can be up and running in minutes. That’s how we make AI practical for every user,” Nakashima continued.
New integrations and capabilities
The expanded offering includes integrations with Google Workspace and Microsoft 365, allowing Coworker to use relevant emails, calendars and files alongside Salesforce data when preparing materials such as meeting briefs and renewal plans.
Employees can also access Coworker through Microsoft Teams, with the system able to coordinate agents and workflows from within conversations. New iOS, Mac and Windows applications are intended to let users delegate tasks, monitor progress and review results across devices.
Conversation History allows users to resume previous interactions across Salesforce, Microsoft Teams and the new applications. Meanwhile, Skills enables teams to turn established workflows into reusable requests that other employees can run.
Scheduled tasks, expected in December, will support recurring work, while a Daily Digest feature is designed to provide employees with a summary of priorities. Salesforce has also introduced a pricing option of US$50 per user per month.
Enterprise adoption
The Adecco Group is among the organisations expanding its use of Coworker. The professional services company plans to extend deployment across 40 countries, giving employees access to relevant candidate and client information.
“The launch of Agentforce Coworker means our teams have access to a single interface that understands candidate history and client context precisely when human judgment matters most,” said Denis Machuel, CEO of The Adecco Group.
