Singapore – Infosys and Harness have entered into a strategic collaboration aimed at supporting enterprise transformation and modernisation initiatives through the application of AI in software delivery.
The partnership brings together Infosys’ Topaz Fabric and Cobalt offerings with the Harness Software Delivery Platform to enhance efficiency across software engineering processes, governance frameworks, and deployment timelines.
The integration is intended to streamline development workflows by embedding AI capabilities across infrastructure, data, applications, and operational processes, creating a more unified and adaptable delivery environment.
“As AI accelerates change, enterprises need delivery systems that are faster, more reliable, and governed by design,” Salil Parekh, Chief Executive Officer of Infosys, stated.
“Together with Harness, we are enabling a more disciplined path from innovation to production, embedding security, compliance, and resilience into how software is delivered across complex environments.”
The initiative focuses on addressing inefficiencies commonly found in software development lifecycles, particularly in areas such as testing, deployment, security, and compliance. These stages are often characterised by manual intervention and fragmented systems, which can delay releases and increase operational exposure.
The joint approach seeks to introduce automation and contextual intelligence across post-development stages, supporting a more consistent transition from code creation to production.
“As AI accelerates code generation, the real challenge for enterprises is ensuring that innovation reaches production safely and efficiently,” Jyoti Bansal, Co-founder and Chief Executive Officer at Harness, commented.
“By bringing Harness’s intelligent delivery platform together with Infosys’ deep enterprise expertise, we’re helping organisations deliver AI-driven software innovation with greater speed, predictability, and control.”
Through this collaboration, both companies plan to deliver integrated solutions suited to large-scale transformation programmes, particularly within complex and highly regulated sectors. The offering is designed to support organisations operating across hybrid and multi-cloud environments, with an emphasis on maintaining governance, auditability, and operational consistency.
Overall, the collaboration reflects a broader industry shift towards embedding AI across the software delivery lifecycle to improve speed, reliability, and governance in enterprise technology environments.
