Fastly welcomes Joan Jenkins as Chief Marketing Officer

Singapore – Fastly has announced the appointment of Joan Jenkins as Chief Marketing Officer, with responsibility for overseeing its worldwide marketing operations and supporting the company’s expansion across key markets.

The role includes advancing the organisation’s position in areas such as security, edge computing, and AI-driven workloads.

Joan brings more than 20 years of experience in senior marketing roles, with a focus on data-led strategies and AI-enabled initiatives. Her remit will centre on strengthening the company’s growth trajectory, broadening its market presence, and enhancing brand visibility among customers and partners internationally.

“Fastly’s platform is designed for this moment, helping customers succeed when performance and protection matter most,” Joan shared.

“I look forward to introducing the Fastly advantage to more companies and accelerating our next phase of growth.”

The appointment comes as the company continues to develop its edge cloud platform in response to increasing demand for high-performance and secure digital infrastructure, particularly in environments shaped by AI technologies. Under Joan’s leadership, marketing efforts are expected to align closely with these priorities to support wider business objectives.

“Joan is an exceptional marketing leader with a proven track record of driving growth for some of the world’s most innovative technology companies,” Kip Compton, CEO of Fastly, stated.

“I’m confident Joan’s vision will help accelerate our momentum as we bring Fastly to more customers worldwide.”

Prior to joining the company, Joan held leadership positions at several technology firms, including Informatica, Oracle, Mindtickle, and Cisco, where she contributed to business expansion and market development initiatives.

The appointment was made as the company seeks to reinforce its market position and extend its reach to a broader global customer base.
