South Korea – ASUS has announced an expansion of its AI infrastructure ecosystem through collaborations with Intel, AMD and a wider group of technology partners, as the company showcases new computing solutions for data centre and industrial edge applications.
The announcements were made at ASUS AI Tech 2026 in Seoul, where the company highlighted partnerships with Aleria, Foxlink, IBM, Samsung, Schneider Electric and WD alongside its work with Intel and AMD.
The company’s enterprise AI infrastructure portfolio includes systems powered by Intel Xeon 6 processors and AMD EPYC 9006 Series server CPUs. ASUS said the platforms are designed to support workloads spanning artificial intelligence (AI), high-performance computing (HPC) and data-intensive applications.
Among the Intel-based systems showcased were the ASUS RS700-E12-RS4U and RS720-E12-RS12U, which are designed as scalable computing platforms for AI and HPC workloads. The XA P8I-E13A is a 6U system based on Intel’s next-generation Xeon processor platform and supports GPU acceleration for demanding AI applications.
ASUS also highlighted its AMD-based portfolio, including the RS720A-E14B-R32U, RS500A-E14B-R12U and ESC8000A-E13P. The first two systems use AMD EPYC 9006 Series CPUs, while the ESC8000A-E13P is equipped with AMD Instinct MI350P PCIe accelerators for workloads including AI inference, agentic AI and HPC.
The company is also positioning AI computing for environments outside conventional data centres, including manufacturing facilities, hospitals, transport networks and public safety applications.
ASUS said processing data locally at the edge can help organisations keep sensitive information, including patient records, production data and video footage, onsite rather than sending it to cloud infrastructure. The approach can also support data confidentiality and compliance requirements.
Industrial edge deployments can present different hardware requirements from conventional data centre environments. Equipment used on factory floors, in hospitals and at power plants may need to operate across wider temperature and voltage ranges and withstand electrical noise and electrostatic discharge.
The ASUS Industrial Edge Server is designed for applications including factory automation, automated optical inspection (AOI), video surveillance and healthcare.
The company also introduced its RUC-2000 series embedded computer, which is powered by Intel Core Ultra Series 3 processors and offers up to 180 AI TOPS. ASUS said the fanless system is designed for applications including machine vision, video analytics and in-vehicle AI.
The expanded portfolio forms part of ASUS’s broader strategy to support AI deployments across cloud and edge environments. The company said its approach is focused on enabling organisations to build, deploy and scale AI infrastructure across different computing environments.
