Corero and Nextwave strengthen DDoS protection capabilities in Thailand

Thailand — Corero Network Security, a global provider of distributed denial-of-service (DDoS) protection solutions, has formed a strategic partnership with Nextwave (Thailand) Co. Ltd., a Bangkok-based cybersecurity and IT solutions distributor.

The agreement marks Corero’s expansion into Thailand, supporting growing demand for advanced network resilience across Southeast Asia.

Through the partnership, Corero and Nextwave aim to address this gap by equipping Thai organisations with technologies that strengthen service availability, business continuity, and customer trust.

Carl Herberger, CEO at Corero Network Security, expressed his honour to serve the Thai community.

“Both companies are committed to customer success, making this a natural fit. Together, we look forward to helping businesses remain not only resilient but also thrive,” Carl said.

Thailand has seen a notable increase in cyber threats, with DDoS attacks targeting government bodies, public institutions, and businesses. Despite the rising risks, the adoption of comprehensive protection measures remains limited.

As Corero’s exclusive distributor in Thailand, Nextwave will deliver the company’s availability and security solutions, including SmartWall ONE™ for Layer 3–7 DDoS defence, and the CORE platform, which integrates Zero Trust Admission Control and Traffic Analysis.

These technologies provide always-on protection to support enterprises and institutions as they continue digital transformation initiatives and strengthen operational resilience.

Krisada Cheevamongkol, CEO at Nextwave (Thailand) Co. Ltd., shared how he is proud to be the first to bring world-class DDoS protection solutions into Thailand.

“This partnership reinforces our commitment to delivering cutting-edge cybersecurity technologies that safeguard our customers and strengthen the nation’s digital resilience,” Krisada stated.

The addition of Nextwave to Corero’s partner ecosystem supports Corero’s broader mission to deliver advanced network availability, security, and resilience solutions worldwide.
