Singapore – SentinelOne, a global cybersecurity firm, has recently announced the appointment of Kris Day as the company’s new senior vice president for Asia Pacific and Japan. Day succeeds Evan Davidson in this role.
With this appointment, Day will be responsible for accelerating the company’s growth in the Asia Pacific and Japan regions. His key responsibilities encompass developing market coverage, expanding the company’s partner ecosystem, and strengthening customer relationships.
He will further guide the team toward operational excellence, establish a scalable organisational structure, and foster a high-performance culture that can support SentinelOne’s continued global expansion.
Day boasts more than 25 years of technology industry experience, with leadership expertise across multiple disciplines and geographies. This includes spearheading successful go-to-market strategies, building effective teams, and managing complex sales environments ranging hardware, software, services, and partner ecosystems in both Europe and APJ.
In terms of career track record, Day has also served executive leadership roles at New Relic, Dell/EMC, NetApp, SolidFire, HPE, and 3Par, with a track record on driving revenue growth, supporting customers through digital transformation initiatives, as well as advancing partner-led sales strategies.
Day’s deep understanding of the APJ market, coupled with his strong relationships and proven leadership abilities, position him to drive significant growth and innovation for SentinelOne in the region. In this new capacity, he is set to focus on supporting the diverse needs of customers, partners, and the broader technology community across APJ.
