Bank of America appoints Winnie Chen as new head of Asia-Pacific for global payment solutions

Singapore – Bank of America, a multinational investment institution, has recently announced the appointment of Winnie Chen as the new head of Asia Pacific for global payment solutions.

As part of her duties, Chen will be responsible for leading the global payments strategy and execution for the region, building client relationships, and working closely with partners in global corporate and investment banking. 

She will be further in charge of overseeing the bank’s global payments solutions business in 12 Asia-Pacific markets and another seven markets through strategic partnerships. 

Drawing on her extensive experience, Chen brings more than 20 years of financial services expertise across various roles in the United States, Greater China, and Singapore. She also carries with her an international perspective and deep knowledge of credit administration, sales, relationship management, and transaction banking.

Chen rejoins Bank of America, where she previously served as the head of sales for financial institutions and the public sector in Hong Kong and Macau. Her most recent roles include becoming the head of treasury services for Asia Pacific and Singapore chief executive at Bank of New York Mellon.
