Singapore – Customer relationship management firm Salesforce has recently unveiled the launch of new autonomous AI innovations across the Salesforce ecosystem, including Slack and Tableau.
According to the firm, these innovations will incorporate Agentforce, the company’s recently inaugurated autonomous AI agents, into the flow of work, thereby enhancing employee efficiency and agility.
Part of this launch includes Industries AI, a set of foundational, pre-built, and customisable AI capabilities that addresses industry-specific needs and challenges to help customers start delivering value quickly. This solution is embedded in each of Salesforce’s 15 industry clouds, allowing customers to deploy ready-to-use AI to help automate time-consuming tasks in their industry.
In this regard, customers can then use pre-built prompts and power every AI capability with industry-specific data models and their own data and metadata.
The firm has also developed an AI Use Case Library that offers more than 100 industries AI capabilities and dedicated use case libraries with resources on how to get started for every industry cloud. This initiative will be regularly updated with new capabilities.
Meanwhile, the new Tableau built on the Salesforce Platform provides a reimagined, AI-powered, visual analytics platform that includes Agentforce.
Named Tableau Einstein, the solution is created to intelligently accelerate the path from raw data to insights directly into the flow of work by infusing autonomous and assistive agents into every aspect of analytics. Said capability offers anyone the ability to answer, engage, and act on insights directly from where they work in real-time.
Moreover, it boasts the ability to promote self-service and agility using the benefits of the shared Salesforce metadata framework. Particularly, these benefits encompass autonomous and assistive agents for modern analytics that enable Tableau’s leading solutions—Tableau Agent (formerly Einstein Copilot for Tableau) and Pulse.
Another significant advantage is the Tableau Semantics that enriches AI, agents, and analytics data with business context and meaning, improving discovery and comprehension of relevant data.
Real-time data with secure and ready-to-scale capabilities across every touchpoint is also among its beneficial uses, significantly creating connected and consistent experiences. Because of deep integration with Data Cloud metadata-driven automation and optimisations, it can be integrated into workflows on any channel and across any department.
Lastly, it also offers a composable architecture and reusable assets across an open API-driven platform that allows teams to build analytical agents to use for any enterprise use case and extensible into other third-party applications.
Beyond these innovations, the new Slack further allows organisations to bring their company knowledge, data, agents, apps, and automation into one agent-powered work operating system.
In one conversational interface, teams can work alongside agents with purpose-built AI, unifying data across Slack and Salesforce, including (1) Agentforce in Slack; (2) third-party AI agents; and (3)· a Salesforce channel that connects Salesforce CRM records to channel-based conversations in Slack.
New enhancements in Slack also include purpose-built AI functionality across search and automation as well as new solution-based templates to unlock productivity for every use case and line of business. These encompass new Slack AI features with enhanced capabilities like huddle notes, simplified automation, and improved search, allowing teams to work smarter, faster, and with greater focus.
At the same time, new Slack templates are also provided with collections of ready-to-use templated channels, canvases, lists, and automated workflows to make work in any department and for any task faster and more productive.
Speaking about these initiatives, Gavin Barfield, vice president and chief technology officer at Salesforce ASEAN, said, “We are moving into a new world of autonomous AI with agents augmenting humans at work. Salesforce is helping ASEAN businesses, regardless of their size and industry, capture the AI opportunity with our next-generation autonomous AI innovations across the ecosystem.”
“With the new innovations embedded directly across the flow of work and built on a foundation of trusted data, customers can expect AI agents and humans to work alongside one another to unlock new levels of productivity and drive customer success together,” explained Barfield.
