Singapore – Salesforce, a customer relationship management company, has recently launched its startup programme initiatives, aimed at fostering growth and innovation within the startup ecosystem in Singapore.

This programme provides opportunities for Singapore startups to access a wide range of resources in Salesforce’s ecosystem, including products and marketplaces such as Salesforce AppExchange, mentorship programmes, and joint go-to-market opportunities.

The said initiative also allows the participants to gain access to Salesforce Ventures, the dedicated investment arm that strategically invests in companies based on their viability and relevance.

In addition, this programme is also strengthened through the company’s recent partnership with Digital Industry Singapore (DISG), which provides its network of startups with access to the programme’s benefits.

Commenting on the initiative, Chan Ih-Ming, head and executive director at DISG, said, “We have built a tech ecosystem where companies big and small work together to thrive. Our collaboration with Salesforce will further strengthen the partnership between our base of MNCs and local startups.”

“This programme will help Singapore startups unlock new growth opportunities, and we encourage more MNCs to nurture more of such partnerships with other players in our wider tech ecosystem,” Chan further emphasised.

Sujith Abraham, ASEAN SVP and general manager at Salesforce, also added, “Singapore’s vibrant startup ecosystem offers many opportunities for startups to scale, innovate, and thrive. As AI continues to transform the business landscape, startups are seeking essential guidance, expertise, and access to trusted tools and technologies to fully capitalise on these opportunities and chart a path for future growth.”

“The launch of the Salesforce Startup Programme in Singapore comes at a crucial time, providing startups with the platform, tools, and community they need to succeed,” explained Sujith.

Also speaking on this endeavour, Sanket Atal, SVP and head of the Start Up Program at Salesforce, remarked, “Singapore’s thriving ecosystem, supported by a favourable business environment, makes Singapore an ideal country to roll out our programme. The Salesforce Startup Programme intends to bring local startups access to a thriving community and platform to reach global audiences and markets. These are exciting times, and we look forward to playing a vital role in the region’s startup landscape.”

Meanwhile, Phaneendra Arigachetta, CTO and founder at Valuehub, stated that participating in the programme will allow them to further improve their ability to scale their businesses, establish relationships, and remain abreast of technological advancements.

Wen Shaw, CEO and co-founder at Cooby.co, also said, “This partnership will amplify our ability to provide WhatsApp conversation tracking solutions, optimising visibility and sales efficiency for executives like CROs and VPs of Sales, as well as strengthening our compliance solutions for regulated industries.”
