Hanoi, Vietnam – FPT and NAVER Cloud have signed a Memorandum of Understanding to expand their artificial intelligence (AI) services and market presence across Asia-Pacific and other international markets through joint technology development, service delivery and commercialisation.
The collaboration will focus on accelerating AI development and deployment through FPT AI Factory, the company’s AI cloud platform, for enterprise customers in selected markets. The companies will also work towards making NAVER Cloud’s HyperCLOVA X AI model available to FPT’s enterprise customers through the platform.
The agreement includes technical exchange programmes to strengthen the companies’ forward-deployed engineering capabilities. Engineers from FPT will work with teams from NAVER Cloud’s Vietnam Development Centre and headquarters on customer projects, including GPU infrastructure optimisation, AI inference performance and the deployment of AI agents in production environments.
The companies aim to combine GPU cloud infrastructure, AI models and engineering services to help businesses deploy AI without having to build and maintain their own infrastructure.
“FPT has invested in advancing our AI Cloud capabilities through AI Factory, supported by engineering teams with proven experience across multiple markets,” said Le Hong Viet, CEO of FPT Smart Cloud at FPT Corporation.
“We look forward to working with NAVER Cloud to bring AI models closer to enterprise customers and develop new ways for businesses across Asia-Pacific and beyond to adopt AI with confidence and turn innovation into real business value,” Viet continued.
“Enterprise AI increasingly requires infrastructure, models, and engineering capabilities to work together as one integrated foundation,” said Le Xuan Loc, FPT Korea Deputy Director and Chief Delivery Officer at FPT Corporation.
“As organisations scale AI across operations, products, and customer experiences, access to diverse AI technologies and specialised expertise is becoming increasingly important. Through our AI-first approach and the partnership with NAVER Cloud, we are expanding the capabilities available to customers to operationalise AI at scale and create measurable business impact,” Loc continued.
“Through this collaboration with FPT, NAVER Cloud can now combine the AI technologies and experience it has built up with FPT’s AI Factory and enterprise business capabilities,” said Yuwon Kim, CEO of NAVER Cloud.
“Building on both companies’ technology and business strengths, we will go beyond Korea and Vietnam to address customers’ diverse AI needs across the APAC market, and create a partnership that turns those efforts into real business results,” Kim continued.
The partnership builds on FPT’s broader AI strategy, which includes its FleziPT AI platform, CASAN AI maturity framework and AI Factory facilities in Vietnam and Japan. The company also reports having more than 30,000 AI-augmented engineers globally.
FPT AI Factory, which uses NVIDIA technology, provides cloud infrastructure and tools for AI development and deployment. FPT says the platform serves more than 18,000 AI developers and over 2,000 enterprises worldwide.
The agreement is intended to expand the companies’ AI offerings and customer reach, with an emphasis on helping enterprises integrate AI infrastructure, models and engineering expertise into operational deployments.
