Australia – Rimini Street has entered a strategic partnership with Datacom, a technology services provider. Under the reseller agreement, Datacom will offer Rimini Support for Oracle and SAP software to its public and private sector customers across Australia and New Zealand, Rimini Street said.
The tie-up combines Rimini Street’s third-party software support, used by thousands of organisations including Fortune Global 100 and Fortune 500 companies, with Datacom’s market presence and implementation expertise, according to the announcement.
As part of its core platforms portfolio, Datacom will provide level 4 support services along with security and compliance solutions powered by Rimini Street, the companies said.
These services will be extended to clients running perpetually licensed versions of Oracle and SAP software, without requiring them to upgrade or relinquish their existing licenses, according to Rimini Street.
The partnership is designed to let Datacom offer clients savings on enterprise software support costs of up to 90%, the company said.
In turn, this frees up IT budget and talent that can be redirected towards strategic initiatives such as digital transformation, cloud migration, and AI-driven projects, according to Rimini Street.
“This is a first-of-its-kind partnership for Rimini Street in this region, and we are excited to join forces with a technology leader like Datacom at a pivotal moment, when economic pressures and the urgency to accelerate AI adoption intersect,” said Shirley Riddick, GVP and regional GM, ANZ, Rimini Street.
“Rimini Street and Datacom together can help organisations maximise the full value of their current investments, reduce operating risk and leapfrog innovation by deploying Agentic AI in weeks, not months, on top of their existing systems,” Riddick said.
Meanwhile, Datacom said the partnership strengthens its service offerings for clients navigating AI adoption while managing legacy enterprise systems.
“We are excited to partner with Rimini Street to enhance our service offerings. This partnership allows Datacom to provide our clients across ANZ with a proven solution that helps to extend the life and value of their enterprise software investments so they can continue on their AI journeys,” said Dave Payne, Director, Core Platforms, Australia and New Zealand, Datacom.
“It aligns perfectly with our commitment to helping customers solve their biggest challenges and achieve their strategic goals,” said Payne.
The agreement covers both public and private sector customers across the ANZ region, according to the companies.
