Singapore – VAST Data and CrowdStrike (NASDAQ: CRWD) have announced new integrations designed to bring enterprise-grade cybersecurity across the infrastructure, data and AI workloads that underpin production AI systems.
The partnership was unveiled in Singapore on 2 September 2026, with both companies describing the move as a step toward embedding security throughout the AI lifecycle rather than at its perimeter alone.
According to VAST Data, its AI infrastructure platform will natively support the CrowdStrike Falcon® sensor, laying the groundwork for deeper integrations with Falcon® Next-Gen SIEM and Falcon® Guardian, CrowdStrike’s newly introduced AI Detection and Response (AIDR) solution, across the VAST AI Operating System.
Together, the companies say they are working to secure three interconnected layers: the systems running AI, the proprietary data feeding it, and the pipelines that prepare that data for AI applications.
As enterprises scale their AI deployments, these environments are becoming more interconnected, and sensitive data increasingly moves between infrastructure, users, models and agents, creating fresh security exposure, the companies noted.
By combining VAST’s visibility into data activity with CrowdStrike’s threat intelligence, detection and response capabilities, organisations will reportedly be able to identify risk with greater context and investigate potential threats across their AI environments.
The integration spans three areas. First, the VAST AI OS is incorporating native support for the Falcon sensor directly into its data infrastructure platform, extending CrowdStrike protection into environments supporting mission-critical enterprise AI workloads.
Second, VAST’s audit telemetry will connect directly with CrowdStrike Falcon Next-Gen SIEM, pairing detailed visibility into how users and machines access enterprise data with CrowdStrike’s detection capabilities. This is intended to let security teams correlate activity across the VAST AI OS with the wider cyber environment, helping them flag anomalous behaviour and scope potential incidents.
Third, Falcon Guardian will integrate with VAST InsightEngine, drawing on the NVIDIA AI Data Platform reference design, to introduce threat detection into the pipelines that prepare enterprise data for AI.
As InsightEngine ingests, processes and enriches data for AI knowledge bases and workflows, Guardian is designed to help identify sensitive or risky information and flag potentially harmful activity before it reaches downstream AI systems.

For its part, CrowdStrike framed the collaboration as an extension of its Falcon platform into a fast-growing category of enterprise AI infrastructure.

Beyond the headline integrations, VAST InsightEngine — which ingests, processes and enriches unstructured data for use by models and agents — serves as a key integration point for Falcon Guardian.
For example, as data is ingested into AI knowledge bases, the companies say the Falcon Guardian integration can help identify and classify sensitive information, such as personally identifiable information (PII).
As users, agents and applications interact with AI systems, CrowdStrike also says it can detect threats such as prompt injection, jailbreak attempts and other malicious activity, giving organisations visibility into risk on both the data feeding AI and the activity surrounding it.
The integrations are also set to be demonstrated within an NVIDIA-powered AI factory, illustrating how CrowdStrike protection can work alongside a VAST-powered data pipeline supporting accelerated AI workloads.
According to the companies, the demonstration will bring the three technologies together in a production-oriented environment, showing how enterprises might strengthen protection around proprietary data as it is prepared and used for AI.
