‘Retail & E-Commerce Excellence Awards Asia Pacific

The retail and e-commerce landscape across the Asia Pacific continues to advance at a rapid pace as organisations respond to shifting consumer expectations, digital-first business models, and increasingly sophisticated technologies. 

From hyper-personalised engagement and AI-powered supply chains to immersive shopping journeys, companies across the region are redefining how commerce operates and how brands connect with customers.

Against this backdrop, UpTech Media and MARKETECH APAC introduce the Retail & E-Commerce Excellence Awards Asia Pacific (REA) 2026, a regional programme designed to recognise the organisations and individuals driving progress across the commerce ecosystem. 

The initiative aims to highlight the work of retail brands, e-commerce platforms, agencies, and technology providers that are setting new standards for innovation and performance across the Asia Pacific.

Positioned as a platform for industry recognition in “Excellence Powering the Future of Retail & E-Commerce”, the programme will spotlight how organisations have transformed operational challenges into opportunities for growth, improved customer experiences, and stronger brand impact within an increasingly competitive digital economy.

The awards feature 50 diverse categories categorised into four key pillars to ensure every facet of the industry is recognised:

  1. Marketing & Experience: Celebrating campaigns that excel in brand awareness, customer acquisition, and CX-driven storytelling.
  2. Industry-Centric: Honouring the standout “Brand of the Year” across sectors like Fashion & Apparel, Beauty, Food & Beverage, Consumer Electronics, and Grocery.
  3. Technology Innovations: Spotlighting the “backbone” of modern commerce, from AI & Machine Learning solutions and MarTech tools to Loyalty, Rewards, and Mobile Commerce technology.
  4. Leadership & Teams: Recognising the human brilliance behind the screens, including “Retail Leader of the Year,” “CMO of the Year,” and “E-commerce Agency Team of the Year.”

The Retail & E-Commerce Excellence Awards Asia Pacific (REA) 2026 is open to all retail and e-commerce brands, agencies, and tech organisations operating within the Asia Pacific. 

The road to the gala night follows this timeline:

  • Entries Deadline: May 22, 2026
  • Judging Period: June 1–12, 2026
  • Finalists Announcement: June 23, 2026
  • Awards Night: August 2026 in Malaysia

Eligible campaigns include those executed between April 1, 2024 and March 31, 2026, allowing for a comprehensive look at long-term strategies and recent breakthroughs alike.
