Melbourne, Australia – Zitcha, a unified retail media platform, has recently announced the appointment of Jim Kane as the new president of sales-global. His appointment comes amidst the company’s efforts to strengthen its presence across key international markets.
As an experienced retail media sales leader, Kane boasts an extensive career across shopper marketing, retail media, and adtech. In fact, he headed sales for Walmart’s Sam’s Club division at WPP’s Triad Retail Media, where he played a crucial role in its integration after Walmart’s acquisition.
Kane also spearheaded the launch of the first retail media network in the sporting goods industry at DICK’S Sporting Goods and has provided strategic counsel to C-suite executives on retail growth.
For this new role, he will spearhead Zitcha’s global sales strategy, focusing on revenue growth and international expansion. This further includes leading and developing a high-performance sales team while also fostering relationships with key retailers, brands, and advertising partners.
Additionally, Kane will be responsible for refining the company’s go-to-market strategy and utilising data analytics and market intelligence to streamline sales performance and drive product innovation.
