Singapore – Salesforce has announced new leadership appointments in Thailand and Indonesia as the company accelerates its expansion across Southeast Asia and advances adoption of its agentic AI platform, Agentforce.
In Thailand, Salesforce appointed Apisit Kuparatana as country leader and managing director. Based in Bangkok, Apisit will lead Salesforce’s operations in the country, supporting local organisations as they integrate AI across their business processes. His appointment follows the company’s continued investment in Thailand, including the establishment of a permanent office in 2023.
Apisit brings over three decades of leadership experience from multinational technology firms and one of Thailand’s largest retail conglomerates. He previously founded and led Altra Group, a management consulting firm focused on strategic planning and business transformation for small and medium-sized enterprises.
He also serves as an advisor to the Federation of Thai Industries and King Mongkut’s Institute of Technology, Ladkrabang.
“Salesforce is at the forefront of agentic AI transformation in Thailand and I’m honoured to take on this leadership role during an exciting period in the company’s evolution,” Aspit shared.
He added, “I’m excited for the opportunity to build successful agentic enterprises and expand our footprint in the market.”
Salesforce’s growing presence in Thailand aligns with rising demand for digital transformation amid a tightening labour market.
Through Agentforce, the company aims to help local enterprises across industries such as financial services, healthcare, manufacturing, and retail become “agentic enterprises” — combining human and AI agents to enhance productivity and customer experience.
In Indonesia, Salesforce appointed Andreas Diantoro as country leader and president director. He will oversee the company’s strategy and growth, working with partners and customers to drive enterprise transformation through agentic AI.
Andreas has held senior leadership roles at SAP, Dell, Microsoft and HP, and has been recognised multiple times as one of Indonesia’s most admired chief executives by Warta Ekonomi.
“With Digital Labour, Indonesian businesses have an unprecedented opportunity to enhance productivity, scale across geographical boundaries and drive innovation into agnetic enterprises,” Andreas commented.
He added, “I look forward to working closely with our Indonesia team and the wider Salesforce ecosystem to accelerate growth and deliver the exceptional experiences our customers expect.”
His appointment builds on Salesforce’s growing operations in the country, following the launch of its local entity and the introduction of Hyperforce — Salesforce’s next-generation platform architecture — in August 2023.
In July 2025, Salesforce expanded Hyperforce services in Indonesia to include Agentforce, Data Cloud, Tableau Next, Tableau Cloud and Marketing Cloud Next, enabling organisations to meet regulatory requirements while improving productivity and delivering personalised customer experiences.
The expansion supports Indonesia’s ambitions to capture its estimated US$366 billion AI opportunity.
“Indonesia is at a crucial juncture where agentic AI can help the country realise its immense opportunity as the fourth largest market globally by population and steadily growing economy,” Arun Kumar Parmeswaran, executive vice president & managing director of South Asia at Salesforce, commented.
Arun also shared his sentiments with Apisit Kuparatana, following his appointment in Thailand, where he conveyed Asipit’s experience will be a great potential for boosting agentic AI with Thai businesses.
With these leadership appointments, Salesforce continues to strengthen its presence in Southeast Asia, focusing on advancing AI-driven transformation and supporting local enterprises as they adopt agentic AI to drive innovation, efficiency and growth.
