OpenAI launches global partner network, commits $150m to enterprise AI ecosystem

Singapore – OpenAI has launched the OpenAI Partner Network, a new global program designed to help organisations build, sell, and deploy artificial intelligence solutions using the company’s models and products.

The initiative comes as enterprises increasingly shift their focus from evaluating AI capabilities to implementing the technology effectively within their operations. According to OpenAI, the primary challenge for many organisations is no longer access to advanced AI models but rather identifying suitable use cases, integrating AI into existing systems, redesigning workflows, and managing organisational change.

As part of the launch, OpenAI said it will invest $150m to support the partner ecosystem. The program begins with a select group of global partners spanning systems integration, management consulting, technology, and data services. The company also aims to train and enable 300,000 certified consultants by the end of 2026.

The OpenAI Partner Network is intended to provide organisations with access to partners that can help them develop AI strategies, integrate AI into enterprise environments, deploy solutions responsibly, and drive user adoption. OpenAI said partners play a key role in helping customers identify high-value opportunities for AI, tailor solutions to their operating environments, and ensure governance and reliability throughout implementation.

Under the program, partners can participate in a framework that supports co-selling, deployment, solution development, and technology integration. The network features three partner tiers—Select, Advanced, and Elite—based on criteria including sales performance, technical expertise, co-sell engagement, and deployment experience.

OpenAI said it also plans to introduce specialisations that recognise deeper expertise in areas such as Codex, cybersecurity, and AI agents. These specialisations are expected to help customers identify partners with proven capabilities in specific domains while enabling partners to develop expertise aligned with OpenAI’s evolving product portfolio.

In addition, the company is piloting a Forward Deployed Experts program with a group of founding partners. The initiative is designed to help qualified partner practitioners work more closely with OpenAI’s Forward Deployed Engineering teams on complex enterprise deployments. Participants will gain access to OpenAI technologies, deployment playbooks, and transformation frameworks intended to strengthen their ability to support customers.

OpenAI said the partner ecosystem will bring together organisations with a range of capabilities, including strategy development, operating model redesign, technology integration, industry-specific solution development, data modernisation, and change management.

The company said it views an ecosystem-led approach as essential to expanding AI adoption, noting that no single provider can address every customer requirement across industries and geographies. Through partnerships, OpenAI aims to make AI technologies more accessible and practical for organisations seeking to implement them at scale.
