Hong Kong – Odoo, a business management and ERP software company, has recently introduced the Shopee Connector for its users in Asia in a move to enhance marketplace e-commerce.
In this initiative, the company said that the official API integration enables businesses to efficiently sync and manage Shopee orders on the Odoo platform.
With Shopee holding a 48% market share as Southeast Asia’s leading e-commerce platform, said integration further offers the company’s 6 million APAC users access to a new revenue stream. This was made possible by centralising online and offline sales, allowing Shopee sellers to efficiently manage multiple Shopee stores across different regions within the Odoo interface.
Once activated, the connector immediately syncs Shopee orders with Odoo while automatically updating inventory at regular intervals. This ensures real-time order status visibility across both platforms, streamlining sales and inventory management.
Moreover, the official Shopee Connector simplifies order-to-delivery management, enabling retailers to fetch the Shopee shipping label and tracking number immediately. Additionally, this API connector enhances retail operations with Odoo’s powerful reporting tools, providing clear sales insights at a glance.
By enabling data-driven strategies for inventory, pricing, and marketing, it further helps businesses make smarter, more informed decisions.
Matts Fievez, director at Odoo APAC, said, “At Odoo, our mission remains to provide truly user-friendly and affordable tools to help our customers scale their businesses. We are launching the Shopee Connector in our standard version, meaning all the features are free. I am sure this will greatly advance our customers in Asia to expand their scope and lead in retail and their respective industries.”
