MoneyHero names Danny Leung as chief financial officer to lead financial efficiency and profitability growth

Singapore – MoneyHero Limited, a personal finance platform and digital insurance brokerage provider in Southeast Asia, has appointed Danny Leung as its chief financial officer, effective October 1, 2025.

Danny previously served as interim CFO since December 2024 and joined the company in 2024 as group director of finance.

Under Danny’s financial leadership, the company has focused on improving revenue quality, expanding gross margins, and strengthening operating discipline to support its profitability targets by the end of 2025.

“I am honoured to step into the role of permanent CFO and look forward to continuing our commitment to digital financial discipline as we grow our businesses and expand our partnership ecosystem,” Danny commented.

He added, “The remarkable progress we’ve achieved over the past year stands as a direct testament to collective dedication, innovative spirit, and hard work from the entire team.”

His appointment is expected to reinforce MoneyHero’s financial management capabilities as it continues to enhance its technology-driven platform, optimise operations, and expand its digital partnerships across the region.

Danny brings more than 20 years of experience in finance and accounting, having worked with growth-stage enterprises, multinational organisations, and publicly listed companies.

“During his tenure as interim CFO, he had shown exceptional leadership and played a critical role in driving MoneyHero’s pivot towards sustainable growth, expanding gross margins, and tightening operating digital disciplines,” Rohith Murthy, chief executive officer of MoneyHero, commented.

He added, “We are confident in Danny’s ability to further optimise our operations and drive strong sequential revenue growth.”
