Singapore – Mobility solution provider ALVA has announced that it has recently collaborated with Google Cloud to advance the customer experience, loyalty, and demand for its electric two-wheelers.
In a recent statement, the automotive firm indicated its selection of Google Cloud as their primary cloud service provider is built on its artificial intelligence (AI)-optimized infrastructure and data cloud and AI technology to drive targeted innovation across four key pillars.
These pillars encompass advancing targeted research and development (R&D) efforts, empowering customer service teams with personalised customer insights, improving productivity of sales staff, and supercharging marketing efforts through the generation of locally relevant content.
Through the integration of data silos within BigQuery, the firm also explained that the R&D team can harness AI to examine typical rider behaviours and develop approaches that not only elevate rider satisfaction but also sharpen the company’s competitive position.
The use of Google Cloud’s unified data platform, BigQuery, further aims to integrate structured and unstructured data across the organisation, including data from enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems, customer relationship management (CRM) platforms, and internet of things (IoT) sensors installed on its two-wheelers. It also encompasses data from other services within the broader Google ecosystem that ALVA is currently using, such as Google Ads, Google Maps, and Android Auto.
Furthermore, ALVA can also incorporate its databases with external partners and create a single platform for comprehensive data visibility through Google Cloud’s open data framework. This move is aimed at optimising employee experiences using AI-powered data analysis to personalise marketing and sales efforts.
Apart from these initiatives, the company is considering the use of enterprise-ready GenAI features such as Vertex AI Search and Conversation to enable marketing teams to naturally extract insights and suggestions from its data repository. This will streamline the production of marketing content that caters to specific audience needs at both speed and scale.
Purbaja Pantja, chief executive officer at ALVA, said, “Electrification is transforming the mobility sector, and we have a goal to make one in every three electric two-wheelers in Indonesia an ALVA vehicle within the next three to five years.”
“Google Cloud’s data cloud and AI technology are critical to helping us derive data-backed insights that will inform R&D and experiences at every touchpoint in the customer journey, ultimately accelerating the adoption and demand for electric vehicles (EVs),” he added.
Fanly Tanto, country director of Indonesia at Google Cloud, also remarked, “The automotive industry is undergoing a fundamental shift as markets strive to achieve carbon neutrality, and we’re excited to be supporting green mobility leaders like ALVA as they continue to push the boundaries of innovation to meet their customers’ evolving requirements.”
“Our collaboration with ALVA is a great demonstration of how leading-edge data analytics and AI can help businesses stay ahead of disruption. Working together, we’re proud to be able to help boost Indonesia’s broader transition to EVs in alignment with national goals to reduce emissions,” he further shared.
