Singapore – Genesys has appointed Daniel Bailey as Senior Vice President of Global Strategic Partnerships and Alexandre Oddos as Vice President of Global Ecosystem Activation as the company expands its global partner ecosystem to support enterprise adoption of agentic artificial intelligence (AI).
The appointments are part of the company’s strategy to deepen collaboration with technology partners, systems integrators, resellers and developers as organisations increasingly seek to integrate AI with business workflows, data and customer engagement systems.
Genesys said its cloud platform is currently used by more than 7,000 organisations worldwide to orchestrate customer and employee experiences through AI-powered capabilities. Its partner ecosystem includes companies such as Accenture, Amazon Web Services, Capgemini, Cognizant, Deloitte, IBM, Meta, Salesforce and ServiceNow.
According to the company, Bailey and Oddos will help strengthen partner engagement and expand the execution of its ecosystem strategy to support customer AI initiatives.
“Customers are looking for trusted partners that can help them accelerate AI adoption and drive meaningful business impact,” said Larry Shurtz, Chief Sales Officer of Genesys. “Daniel and Alexandre bring complementary strengths that will help Genesys deepen strategic relationships, accelerate joint go-to-market execution and create new opportunities for customers around the world. Their leadership will strengthen our ecosystem and help customers realise even greater value from their investment in Genesys Cloud AI.”
Bailey previously served as senior vice president and regional sales leader for Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA) at Genesys. In his new role, he will oversee the company’s global strategic partnerships organisation, focusing on alliance development and joint innovation with partners.
He brings more than two decades of experience in cloud solutions sales and has previously led partnership efforts in the EMEA region at Amplitude, Salesforce and Zendesk.
“Genesys helps organisations turn AI innovation into business outcomes, and a strong ecosystem can help customers extend that impact across the enterprise,” said Bailey. “Our focus is on building partnerships that make it easier for organisations to connect AI with the systems, workflows and expertise that drive their business. Together with our partners, we’re helping customers accelerate transformation, simplify execution and drive greater operational efficiency, customer loyalty and growth.”
Oddos will assume the newly created position of vice president of Global Ecosystem Activation, where he will oversee partner engagement, enablement and go-to-market execution. The role includes scaling ecosystem initiatives across global systems integrators and technology partners to support co-selling and co-delivery activities.
Before joining Genesys, Oddos was a lead analyst at Gartner covering customer experience, customer service, CRM and contact centre technologies. He has also held leadership positions at Vocalcom, Microsoft and IBM.
