Singapore – ESET has expanded its B2B cybersecurity portfolio with a new AI Security module for the ESET PROTECT Platform, adding capabilities designed to address security risks associated with AI tools, autonomous agents and AI-driven workflows.
The new module includes AI Agent Security, a security layer intended to protect organisations using autonomous AI agents from malicious AI components. The capability extends ESET’s security controls into the AI agent ecosystem while supporting the use of AI-powered tools and workflows.
ESET is also introducing AI Behavioural Monitoring, which continuously monitors the behaviour of autonomous AI agents. The company said the capability is designed to identify and flag suspicious activity, strengthen oversight of AI agent operations and help prevent potentially harmful behaviour from developing into security incidents.
The changes come as organisations increasingly adopt AI across employee tools, software development and business workflows. ESET said this adoption is creating an expanding attack surface for cyber threats.
According to ESET’s report for Singapore, 79% of organisations in the country experienced at least one AI-related cyber threat during the previous 12 months. ESET researchers have also reported AI-enabled threats including PromptLock and PromptSpy, as well as thousands of malicious agentic AI skills.
“AI is transforming the way businesses operate, innovate and grow, but it is also reshaping the cybersecurity landscape at an extraordinary pace. Across APAC, organisations are increasingly looking for security that can keep pace with this change while giving them the confidence to embrace new technologies,” said Parvinder Walia, President of the APAC Region at ESET.
“For us, cybersecurity is not only about responding to threats; it is about enabling progress securely. ESET’s updated B2B portfolio, supported by an additional €40 million investment in AI in 2026, reflects our commitment to helping organisations strengthen their resilience, navigate emerging AI-driven risks and ensure that security remains a foundation for innovation,” Walia continued.
Expanding AI-focused security capabilities
Alongside the new AI Security module, ESET said it is continuing to develop its existing AI-based detection technologies, which have been developed over several decades.
The company is investing in security-focused AI foundations designed specifically for cybersecurity. These include ESET LiveCortex, a cross-perimeter correlation and response engine included in the ESET PROTECT Platform.
ESET AI Advisor is also being renamed ESET LiveAI. ESET said the new name is intended to reflect the technology’s position within its core product portfolio, while the platform is also gaining the ability to provide live incident remediation context.
The additions form part of ESET’s broader efforts to adapt its B2B security offering to the growing use of AI across enterprise environments.
