Singapore – Equinix, a digital infrastructure firm, has recently introduced a private AI solution designed to help businesses train AI models in a scalable and cost-efficient manner across public and private clouds. This solution further ensures offering enhanced security and low-latency deployment on-premises.
Under the initiative, Equinix International Business Exchange (IBX) data centres are set to employ the Dell AI Factory with NVIDIA, providing a portfolio of products, solutions, and services in a neutral, cloud-adjacent platform.
Combining Dell PowerEdge XE9680 servers, NVIDIA’s accelerated computing and Spectrum-X Ethernet platform, NVIDIA BlueField-3 DPUs, Dell PowerScale F710 storage, and the NVIDIA AI Enterprise software, the Dell AI Factory with NVIDIA is now available at over 260 AI-ready Equinix data centres.
Said solution will be accessible at any of Equinix’s 260+ AI-ready data centres and supported by cutting-edge interconnection services like Equinix Fabric, enabling customers to gain real-time insights and drive AI innovation.
Moreover, Dell’s partnership with Equinix enhances the Dell AI Factory with NVIDIA by utilising Equinix’s extensive network of data centres and digital infrastructure, which include high-performance AI-ready data centres, global reach and local compliance, platform neutrality and flexibility, sustainability, and lastly, data privacy and security.
Lisa Miller, senior vice president, platform alliances at Equinix, said, “At Equinix, we are committed to providing our customers with cutting-edge AI infrastructure that meets the highest standards of performance, security, and sustainability.”
“Our collaboration with Dell Technologies and NVIDIA enables enterprises to harness the power of generative AI while maintaining control over their data and supporting their corporate sustainability goals.
