Deloitte New Zealand, Databricks to advance data and AI capabilities nationwide

Auckland, New Zealand – Deloitte New Zealand has entered into a strategic alliance with Databricks to expand access to advanced data, analytics, and AI solutions across the country.

The collaboration combines Deloitte’s industry experience with the Databricks Data Intelligence Platform to help organisations unlock greater value from their data and accelerate their digital transformation efforts.

The alliance will provide Deloitte clients with scalable, cloud-based data solutions designed to support complex data management, analysis, and insight generation. By leveraging Databricks’ platform, Deloitte aims to deliver enhanced data engineering, machine learning, and analytics services that enable faster, evidence-based decision-making and improve business responsiveness.

“Our alliance with Databricks marks a significant step in our mission to support New Zealand organisations in harnessing the full potential of their data and AI,” Roger Lee, partner and AI & data lead for New Zealand at Deloitte, commented.

“Together, we will empower our clients to innovate with confidence, build resilient businesses, and shape a digitally enabled future.”

The partnership reinforces Deloitte’s commitment to supporting New Zealand organisations in navigating the digital economy.

Combining Deloitte’s sector-specific expertise with Databricks’ Lakehouse architecture will enable the development of tailored data and AI solutions to address key business needs, including supply chain optimisation, customer experience improvement, and compliance management.

The collaboration also enhances Deloitte’s ability to deliver integrated technology services supported by its talent network and implementation experience. Through shared resources, tools, and methodologies, both firms aim to accelerate the deployment of data-driven systems that foster innovation and efficiency.

“Data and AI are the building blocks for businesses in today’s landscape,” Carol Brown, country manager for New Zealand at Databricks, stated.

“Our partnership with Deloitte New Zealand will help accelerate their adoption across sectors, equipping organisations with tools like the Databricks Intelligence Platform that make it easier for them to harness the power of their data for analytics and AI agents.”

With growing demand for data-led strategies across the ANZ region, this alliance positions Deloitte to help businesses modernise their data platforms and leverage technologies such as Databricks’ Data Intelligence Platform and Agent Bricks.

The partnership reflects Deloitte New Zealand’s ongoing investment in digital capabilities and its focus on delivering transformative outcomes for clients nationwide.
