Deloitte Philippines names Chito Ramos as new country leader, strengthening focus on digital transformation

Manila, Philippines – Deloitte Philippines has announced the appointment of Ramon Chito Ramos as its new country leader, succeeding Eric Landicho. The leadership transition marks a new phase for the firm as it aims to expand its technological and advisory capabilities to meet the evolving needs of clients.

Chito previously led the firm’s Technology & Transformation practice, overseeing large-scale digital initiatives across multiple sectors. His experience has been integral in positioning Deloitte Philippines as a key player in digital strategy, enterprise modernisation, and artificial intelligence integration.

Under Chito’s leadership, Deloitte Philippines is set to place greater emphasis on advanced technologies, including AI-driven analytics, enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems, and data management platforms. 

“I am honoured to serve as Deloitte Philippines’ country leader, and also excited to lead the practice into the next chapter of growth,” Chito shared. 

He also shared his acknowledgements, “Deloitte Philippines has flourished under Eric’s leadership and is now in a prime position to serve clients better, support our people, and give back to our communities in a rapidly evolving world.” 

Eric, who served as country leader for eight years, remains with Deloitte Philippines and will continue to support client engagement and leadership development. 

His tenure saw the firm expand its industry specialisation and strengthen its reputation for delivering multidisciplinary solutions across key sectors.

“It was a fulfilling eight years and I am grateful for the privilege to work alongside my fellow partners who are among the most driven and passionate individuals in the industry,” Eric shared. 

“I am confident that Chito and his leadership team will bring energy, vision, and a passion for innovation and transformation, qualities that will help lead Deloitte Philippines into its next chapter.” 

The firm intends to utilise its Advice, Implement, and Operate (A-I-O) framework to help clients enhance operational efficiency, strengthen decision-making, and accelerate digital transformation. These initiatives are expected to support organisations in adapting to changing market demands while fostering innovation and resilience.

The firm’s strategic direction will continue to build on its foundation in audit, legal, tax, consulting, and risk advisory services, extending its advisory portfolio to provide comprehensive digital solutions. 

Eugene Ho, chief executive officer of Deloitte Southeast Asia, shared that he has worked with both Chito and Eric and is confident about the new leadership appointment in how Chito will use his expertise and cumin to elevate Deloitte into the future. 

“I thank Eric for his leadership and contributions, and I am confident that he will continue to contribute greatly to the firm as he mentors the next generation of leaders in the Philippines,” Eugene commented.
