Singapore — CapBridge, a Singapore-based digital investment platform and a member of FOMO Group, has appointed Janet Liu as its new chief executive officer, effective August 1, 2025. The leadership transition intends to strengthen the company’s position in Asia’s regulated capital markets and support its next stage of growth.
In her role as CEO, Liu will focus on scaling CapBridge’s digital investment offerings, enhancing institutional partnerships, and working closely with regulators and ecosystem stakeholders to broaden market access
Liu succeeds Johnson Chen, the previous CEO of CapBridge, who led the company since its early years and oversaw product development, platform expansion, and overall market resilience. Johnson will remain a shareholder and continue to support the firm through strategic initiatives and mentorship.
Johnson stated that he is proud of the journey of CapBridge and the wider FOMO Group. He is confident the new leadership will carry the company’s mission forward providing access to comprehensive investment solutions and treasury management services to individuals and businesses.
With nearly two decades of experience across financial services, fintech, and capital markets, Janet has held senior roles at Citi, OCBC, Lufax (Ping An), and StashAway. Her expertise spans product strategy, digital transformation, and P&L management across Singapore, Hong Kong, and Shanghai.
“I want to express my sincere appreciation for Johnson’s leadership. Under his stewardship, CapBridge has achieved significant milestones and built a strong foundation for future growth. I’m honoured to succeed him as CEO and look forward to leading CapBridge into its next chapter,” Janet said.
Louis Liu, chairman of FOMO Group, is confident about the new leadership appointment and how it will propel CabBridge’s growth.
“Janet Liu brings a forward-thinking mindset and deep fintech experience that align with CapBridge’s mission and growth plans,” Louis said.
“We thank Johnson for his outstanding contributions and are confident that under Janet’s leadership, CapBridge will continue to expand its impact in the local and regional financial landscape.”
