Avanade names former Google leader Megawaty Khie as regional managing director for SEA

Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia – Avanade, an IT services and consulting firm, has recently named Megawaty Khie as the regional managing director for Southeast Asia

In her new role, Khie will focus on driving the company’s business growth and strengthening its reputation as the leading Microsoft solutions provider across Southeast Asia, including Malaysia.

She will also oversee Avanade’s network of digital experts and innovators in Southeast Asia, leveraging their global reach and local expertise to deliver impactful solutions for clients, partners, and communities during the AI revolution.

Prior to joining Avanade, Khie held leadership roles at Google, including spearheading channels and strategic partnerships for Google Cloud in Southeast Asia. Her tenure as the regional director for Indonesia and Malaysia further enabled her to lead the launch of Google’s Cloud Region in Jakarta.

Speaking about her appointment, Khie said, “As Southeast Asia and Malaysia accelerate the pace of becoming the world’s top AI hub, I look forward to the positive impact we at Avanade will make for our customers, partners, and communities.”
