Singapore — Amadeus, a global travel technology provider, and Shiji, a multinational hospitality technology company, have expanded their partnership to offer hotels a more comprehensive suite of integrated solutions.
The agreement allows both companies to facilitate the licensing and referral of each other’s products, creating an end-to-end portfolio that includes Shiji Daylight PMS, Infrasys POS, Amadeus HotSOS, Amadeus Delphi, Amadeus iHotelier, and the Amadeus Central Reservation System (ACRS), among others.
The collaboration is intended to help address long-standing challenges in the hospitality sector, including system fragmentation, connectivity gaps, and the demand for greater personalisation.
Francisco Pérez-Lozao Rüter, president of hospitality at Amadeus, shared that this partnership is the start of redefining how hotels access and use technology.
“By bringing our products and expertise together with Shiji’s and providing new single-image integrations, we are offering a solution that addresses historical fragmentation and delivers the best in PMS, POS, CRS, sales and catering, and hotel operations technologies,” Francisco explained.
A key development is the integration of ACRS at an attribute level, enabling it to act as the master record for inventory, rates, and availability across both room and non-room products. This provides the foundation for more personalised guest sales and merchandising strategies.
Hotels are expected to benefit from a single technology suite covering property management, point of sale, reservations, sales and catering, and operations. The partnership also supports revenue growth opportunities by enabling advanced merchandising and upselling strategies through single-image integration across all distribution channels.
“We are excited to work with Amadeus to deliver a global solution that empowers hotels with cutting-edge technology and seamless support,” Kevin King, CEO of Shiji International, commented.
“This collaboration ensures that hotels have access to the most advanced tools available, all within a fully connected ecosystem.”
Vendor management is streamlined, as hotels can access essential technology solutions through one provider, while both Amadeus and Shiji continue to operate independently, maintain their own services, and separately host customer data.
With a combined international footprint, the two companies are positioned to deliver consistent service and support across markets.
By consolidating their technology capabilities, the partnership aims to improve operational efficiency, foster innovation, and enhance the guest experience for hoteliers worldwide.
