Singapore – Zyxel Networks, an AI-powered cloud networking solutions firm, has recently announced that it has partnered with Singapore’s JUMBO Group of Restaurants to transform its network infrastructure.
Under the agreement, JUMBO will use Zyxel’s Nebula Networking solution to establish a more scalable and centralised solution for managing operations and maintaining smooth connectivity.
This move also comes in response to the JUMBO’s difficulties in handling complex and varied networking equipment across multiple sites, which they revealed was logging into each device individually as time-consuming and inefficient.
Now with Nebula, the latter benefits from automated network deployment, centralised monitoring, and remote management, reducing the IT workload and enhancing overall network reliability.
Said solution will also streamline documentation with a one-click topology feature post-deployment, offering a comprehensive network view.
Meanwhile, its user-friendly management interface reduces training time for new IT staff and simplifies ongoing maintenance. The solution’s real-time traffic optimisation and zero-touch deployment also improve connectivity, ensuring a seamless online experience for both staff and guests.
The new network further enables JUMBO Group’s IT department to efficiently manage all restaurant locations remotely, ensuring consistent and secure connectivity. This deployment of WAX510D WiFi 6 access points and XGS1930-28HP smart managed PoE switches optimises power management and enhances network performance, supporting JUMBO Group’s growth and digital transformation efforts.
Commenting about the initiative, Nelson Tay, Assistant IT Manager at JUMBO Group of Restaurants, said, “Nebula has completely streamlined our IT operations. With centralised control, we can configure and monitor all network devices remotely, ensuring smooth restaurant operations and an exceptional dining experience for our customers.”
