Zoho establishes Malaysia office to support local enterprises, national digital economy goals

Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia – Zoho Corporation has opened a new office in Malaysia, expanding its regional footprint and reinforcing its focus on supporting local organisations as the country advances its digital economy agenda.

The facility, based in Subang Jaya, Selangor, will host teams from Zoho and its IT management division ManageEngine, strengthening the company’s on-the-ground presence for customers and partners across Malaysia.

The expansion takes place against the backdrop of Malaysia’s growing digital and AI landscape. The Malaysia Digital Economy Corporation has reported that AI solution providers within the national ecosystem have collectively generated MYR 1b in revenue, reflecting sustained momentum supported by government-led initiatives such as MyDIGITAL and the National E-Commerce Strategic Roadmap.

“As Malaysia enters a more critical phase of digital maturity, businesses are putting more emphasis on technologies that are not only powerful but also secure and easier to adopt,” Gibu Mathew, vice president and general manager for APAC at Zoho Corporation, stated.

“Our aim is to be present among the local SMEs, enterprises, partners, and government agencies and effectively support them in embracing AI, cloud technologies, and modern workplace solutions.”

In parallel with its physical expansion, Zoho has increased its investment in the local startup ecosystem. In 2025, the company partnered with Cradle Fund Sdn Bhd to deliver the Zoho for Startups programme through the MYStartup Single Window platform. The initiative is intended to provide more than MYR 30m worth of software to approximately 3,000 startups, giving them access to an integrated suite of business applications.

This focus on AI-enabled and user-oriented tools was also highlighted during Zoholics Malaysia 2025, where enhancements across Zoho’s product portfolio were showcased to local audiences.

ManageEngine has also expanded its presence aimed at helping organisations address developing cybersecurity risks by supporting the development and operation of resilient and secure IT infrastructure, while working more closely with local enterprises, partners and public sector bodies.

Beyond customer support, the new Malaysia office is expected to function as a centre for skills development, training sessions, workshops and community-led initiatives focused on digital and cybersecurity capabilities. ManageEngine has operated in Malaysia for more than a decade and has engaged with local organisations through events such as the ManageEngine UserConf Southeast Asia 2025 in Kuala Lumpur. The opening of the new office represents a continuation of the group’s longer-term strategy to contribute to sustainable, secure and inclusive digital growth in Malaysia and across the wider ASEAN region.
