Singapore – Salesforce, a customer relationship management company, has recently launched its latest digital labour platform and the newest version of Agentforce, titled ‘Agentforce 2dx.’
This tool brings trusted AI agents that work autonomously within workflows. It expands beyond the reactive chat-based interactions, enabling agents to proactively manage tasks behind the scenes as well as driving efficiency in customer and employee operations.
With this, organisations can now integrate autonomous agents into their existing data systems, business logic, and user interfaces. Said automation allows agents to anticipate business needs and take action dynamically, thereby improving efficiency, agility, and scale.
The new Agentforce version also introduces a suite of low-code and pro-code tools that enable Salesforce developers to configure, test, and deploy Agentforce with confidence. Enhanced with advanced analytics, these tools provide real-time monitoring, debugging, and optimisation insights.
To support experimentation, Salesforce further offers the Agentforce Developer Edition, a free environment where developers can prototype agents and explore the capabilities of Data Cloud, Salesforce’s hyper-scale data engine.
Alongside these innovations, the company introduced a built-in Salesforce marketplace and community for Agentforce called AgentExchange. This launch paves the way for partners to tap into the booming $6t digital labour economy.
AgentExchange streamlines Agentforce implementation with a library of ready-to-use templates and actions, helping businesses save time and resources. It also provides partners with a marketplace to sell their components and capitalise on the expanding AI agent market.
Launching with over 200 partners and hundreds of pre-built actions, the new AgentExchange enables the rapid deployment of AI agents across various industries and professions.
Interestingly, the release of Agentforce 2dx also introduces the Agentblazer community—an inclusive network for admins, developers, and IT executives. Paired with new developer tools and AgentExchange, this community enables professionals to exchange best practices and upskill on Trailhead, driving the adoption of agent-first companies.
Adam Evans, EVP and GM at Salesforce’s AI Platform, said, “Companies today have more work than workers, and Agentforce is stepping in to fill the gap. By extending digital labor beyond CRM, we’re making it easier than ever for businesses to embed agentic AI into any workflow or application to handle routine tasks, augment employees, and connect with customers.”
“With deep integrations across Salesforce’s digital labour platform, CIOs, IT leaders, and developers can seamlessly build agents and automate work wherever it happens, driving efficiency, fuelling innovation, and unlocking new opportunities in the $6 trillion digital labour market,” he further shared.
