Bielefeld, Germany – NTT DATA Business Solutions has launched an agentic artificial intelligence (AI) delivery framework designed to help organisations accelerate SAP transformations by integrating AI-enabled execution, software solutions and adoption services.
The framework, called Elevate, combines the company’s secure AI platform, NTT DATA aXet, Natuvion’s data transformation capabilities and SAP technologies, including SAP’s Agent-Led Toolchain and SAP Business AI Platform.
The initiative comes as organisations seek to modernise enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems through programmes such as RISE with SAP while adopting AI to change business processes. Managing these efforts separately can add complexity and slow implementation, according to the company.
“We have reached a point where every transformation is becoming an AI-driven business transformation, creating a path toward more autonomous business operations,” says Norbert Rotter, CEO of NTT DATA Business Solutions.
“Elevate is our response to this shift. We are reshaping how transformation is delivered by combining human expertise with intelligent agents, AI-powered innovation and structured adoption. This enables our clients to move and adapt more quickly and realise stronger returns from their technology investments,” Rotter continued.
“Elevate reflects how we are transforming our own organisation to create greater value for our clients. Rather than applying AI to isolated activities, we are embedding it into the way our people work, the way we deliver and the solutions we develop,” said Krunal Patel, Global AI, Innovation & Software Assets Leader at NTT DATA Business Solutions.
At the centre of Elevate is NTT DATA aXet, a secure delivery platform developed within the company’s enterprise environment. It brings together enterprise knowledge, delivery methodologies, governance frameworks, AI agents and other resources in a unified operating environment.
The platform is intended to support consultants throughout the SAP lifecycle, with security, traceability and human oversight built into delivery processes. Standardising workflows and automating repetitive tasks could help accelerate activities related to SAP transformation, including assessment, migration readiness, testing, clean-core adoption and enabling new capabilities.
The framework is also supported by an internal training programme designed to help consultants work effectively alongside AI systems.
NTT DATA Business Solutions is developing AI use cases and intelligent agents using SAP Business AI technologies to support process execution, decision-making and coordination across business operations.
The company is also adapting its software portfolio to incorporate AI capabilities. These products include GLASSWING, a master data management platform focused on data quality, governance and compliance, and MAKIRA, a document and content management solution that uses generative and agentic AI to automate document processing, information retrieval and workflow coordination.
The company cited deployments involving automated supplier confirmation processing for Lemvigh-Müller, AI-powered consulting workflow orchestration for zeb and intelligent sales order processing for Synthomer as examples of AI-enabled solutions intended to improve efficiency, accuracy and decision-making while retaining human control.
Elevate also incorporates AI readiness assessments, governance frameworks, workforce training and adoption services. These are intended to help organisations integrate new capabilities into business processes and assess their effects on productivity, operational efficiency, service quality and organisational agility.
