United Kingdom – NTT DATA is expanding the deployment of an AI-powered infrastructure operations platform to support complex enterprise IT environments worldwide.

The platform combines real-time monitoring, predictive analytics and intelligent automation to improve operational resilience, efficiency and visibility. The deployment includes support for one of the largest commercial vehicle manufacturers.

The technology covers IT and cloud infrastructure, SAP Basis and network operations across global environments, according to NTT DATA.

“Our AI-powered platform significantly increases transparency and automation, providing the foundation for greater stability, faster response times and a future-ready IT architecture,” said Abhijit Dubey, CEO and Chief AI Officer, NTT DATA, Inc.

“Our work with Daimler Truck is one example of how we can operate global IT infrastructures securely, responsibly and at scale with clear business outcomes,” he continued.

NTT DATA said its platform brings together data-driven operations across local and global environments, with monitoring covering tens of thousands of devices in real time.

The company said the system is designed to improve reliability, performance and operational efficiency while continuously optimising capacity and resource utilisation. Coordinated hardware upgrades and lifecycle management are also intended to support connectivity for users and production sites.

The deployment includes AI-enabled monitoring of global manufacturing environments, predictive insights aimed at identifying potential disruptions before they affect production, and automated multi-stage incident processing to accelerate resolution and reduce manual tasks.

NTT DATA is also using an AI-orchestrated global delivery model that combines on-site expertise with offshore execution as part of the wider infrastructure operations approach.

The expansion comes as enterprises manage increasingly complex IT and cloud environments and seek to use AI to improve infrastructure visibility, incident response and operational resilience.
