Singapore – Salesforce and Google Cloud have expanded their strategic partnership with new integrations designed to connect enterprise data, AI agents and applications across their platforms.

Announced at a conference, the expanded collaboration will bring Salesforce workloads to Google Cloud through Hyperforce while connecting Salesforce’s headless architecture with Google Cloud’s Gemini Enterprise.

The companies said the integrations will allow agents on either platform to reason over and act on shared data without requiring custom integrations. The collaboration brings together Salesforce’s data, workflows, business logic and actions with Gemini Enterprise’s AI and reasoning capabilities.

Salesforce workloads move to Google Cloud

Hyperforce on Google Cloud is already handling live production customer traffic, with Salesforce planning to begin migrating select customers in the US during the fourth quarter of 2026.

The move is intended to give organisations access to Google Cloud infrastructure and data services while continuing to use Salesforce’s platform.

“What changes here is the infrastructure underneath our customers, not the trust they’ve built with us,” said Meir Amiel, President, Chief Trust and Infrastructure Officer at Salesforce

“Hyperforce running natively on Google Cloud will extend the same security, compliance, and resilience standards we hold ourselves to. Enterprises will get Google Cloud’s flexibility without giving up an inch of the trust bar they expect from Salesforce,” Amiel continued.

“Enterprise AI only pays off when agents can understand a company’s business context and act on it,” said Kevin Ichhpurani, President, Global Partner Ecosystem at Google Cloud.

“Gemini Enterprise brings Google’s most advanced AI together with a company’s data, applications and everyday workflows in one platform. By bringing Salesforce — where critical customer and business processes already live — into Gemini Enterprise, customers can build trusted agents that reason across their business context and securely take action. And with Hyperforce on Google Cloud, customers gain greater choice in how they deploy Salesforce on our AI-optimized infrastructure,” Ichhpurani continued.

Gemini Enterprise connects with Salesforce

Google Cloud has also implemented Salesforce’s headless architecture, allowing customers to use Salesforce capabilities across sales, service and productivity workflows.

Salesforce data and capabilities can now be surfaced within Gemini Enterprise without custom integration. Through the Model Context Protocol (MCP) open standard, Salesforce said thousands of its capabilities can be made available to models, agents and interfaces.

Potential applications include pipeline health checks, account summaries and case triage across sales, service, finance and advertising workflows.

The integration also extends to Tableau analytics. Through Tableau MCP, Gemini Enterprise can connect to governed analytics while maintaining row-level security and semantic models during agent queries.

Meanwhile, Google’s Gemini models are available natively within Salesforce Agentforce, allowing joint customers to build AI agents that can reason and act across both platforms. Google’s latest models also remain available for Salesforce’s Prompt Builder and Agentforce Reasoning Engine.

SharkNinja is among the companies using the integrations.

“By bringing Gemini Live’s real-time, multimodal capabilities together with Agentforce, we’re creating a new way for consumers to engage with SharkNinja throughout the life of a product,” says Evan Gerber, VP of AI and Emerging Technology at SharkNinja

“What starts with guided setup can grow into an intelligent product companion that helps people learn, troubleshoot, discover new possibilities and connect with support when needed. Together with Google Cloud and Salesforce, we’re building an experience that carries context across the consumer journey and becomes more useful with every interaction,” Gerber continued.

AI-powered commerce on Google

The partnership will also extend Salesforce Commerce Cloud into Google’s consumer-facing AI experiences.

From autumn 2026, shoppers will be able to discover and purchase products through Google Search, including AI Mode, and the Gemini app, with Commerce Cloud supporting the experience.

Merchants will be able to provide product catalogue data to Google Merchant Centre through a native feed integration and field-mapping interface in Salesforce Business Manager.

The integration will also support checkout through the Universal Commerce Protocol (UCP), allowing purchases to be completed within Google surfaces while payments, compliance and order management remain on existing commerce infrastructure.

“AI is changing not only how consumers discover products, but where they buy them,” says Velia Carboni, CIO of SharkNinja

“With our products surfaced across Google surfaces and UCP-enabled checkout on the results page, we shorten the path from discovery to purchase while keeping payments and order management on Commerce Cloud. It creates a seamless experience for consumers and a meaningful new growth channel for SharkNinja,” Carboni continued.

Expanding zero-copy data sharing

Salesforce Data 360 and Google BigQuery already support zero-copy data sharing, and the companies are expanding the integration to additional Salesforce and Google regions.

The expanded capabilities include adoption of Iceberg REST Catalogue open standards and Private Connect for open and secure interoperability.

Salesforce and Google Cloud are also exploring bidirectional semantic information sharing, which the companies said could support more connected and governed data and AI experiences.

Hyperforce on Google Cloud is scheduled for general availability in North America in November 2026, followed by phased feature and regional expansion in 2027, including Germany.

The Salesforce Federated Connector for Gemini is currently available as a private preview, with general availability planned for late October. The Agentforce Sales Agent for Gemini Enterprise is in beta on Google Cloud Marketplace, while the Agentforce Reasoning Engine with Gemini is generally available.

The Google Cloud and Salesforce Data 360 zero-copy expansion is planned for autumn 2026. The catalogue feed integration with Google is already generally available, while integration with the Universal Commerce Protocol is scheduled for 26 October.

The expanded partnership reflects the companies’ efforts to connect enterprise data, AI reasoning, applications and commerce across their respective cloud and software environments.
