Singapore – TAG Video Systems has introduced TAG Blue, a cloud platform designed to give every company along a media delivery chain shared visibility of their workflow. According to the company, the platform also applies artificial intelligence to translate that visibility into a root cause and a recommended next step.

The announcement was made on 3 September 2026. TAG Blue will be previewed at IBC2026, held at Stand 1.D33, RAI Amsterdam, from 11 to 14 September.

TAG Video Systems positions itself as a leader in 100% software-based real-time media monitoring, multiviewing, and quality control. TAG Blue extends that offering beyond a single organisation’s own infrastructure, addressing a gap the company says has long limited how quickly faults can be diagnosed across multiple partners.

According to TAG, its existing Core platform already gives broadcasters full visibility inside their own operation. The difficulty, the company says, begins once content crosses organisational boundaries.

As a broadcast moves across multiple entities, facilities, partners, and workflows, visibility breaks down in two ways, TAG explains. Firstly, each entity on the chain can see only its own leg of the workflow, meaning no single party has sight of the full path.

Secondly, TAG says the telemetry generated at each deployment point is detailed enough to explain a fault locally. However, connecting that data across companies to reach a root cause and a next step is, according to the company, often impossible or too costly and time-consuming to achieve in practice.

TAG states that this siloed data drives up mean time to repair (MTTR) and the costs associated with it.

TAG Blue is built to close that gap. The platform gives every entity in a delivery chain visibility into the workflow points they share, using existing TAG technology and, the company says, without requiring new instrumentation.

From there, artificial intelligence within the platform correlates errors across the defined path, identifies a potential root cause, and recommends steps to resolve the issue.

In addition, the platform includes a built-in large language model, allowing operators to ask TAG Blue directly what happened and receive an answer immediately rather than searching through logs.

TAG illustrates the platform’s use with a live sports broadcast scenario. In that context, shared visibility between production teams and broadcasters taking the feed becomes essential, the company says, spanning from the venue through to the platforms airing the content.

Should a fault occur along that path, TAG says all parties would already know where and why it happened, rather than each side independently checking its own systems while under time pressure.

TAG Video Systems also states that it is working with other media technology vendors to extend the same shared-visibility approach more broadly across the industry.

Commenting on the launch, Ziv Mor, Chief Growth Officer at TAG Video Systems, said, “Traditionally, every entity on the chain could see what was happening inside its own walls and almost nothing beyond them. When something goes wrong, the phone starts ringing. TAG Blue changes that.”

“It gives them real visibility across the chain, securely, without giving up control, and its AI turns that into a root cause and solutions. Now broadcasters, service providers and operators can solve the problem and avoid unnecessary costs related to service outages”, Mor added.

TAG Video Systems says the platform is aimed at broadcasters, service providers and operators seeking to reduce outage-related costs and streamline fault resolution across shared delivery chains. Further details on TAG Blue are expected to be shared during its preview at IBC2026 in Amsterdam this month.
