Jakarta, Indonesia – PT ITSEC Asia Tbk (ITSEC Asia) and PT Industri Telekomunikasi Indonesia (Persero) (PT INTI) have signed agreements to collaborate on cybersecurity solutions, Security Operations Center (SOC) capabilities, and cybersecurity and artificial intelligence (AI) skills development in Indonesia.
The collaboration was formalised through two Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs) signed on 23 July 2026 at PT INTI’s headquarters in Bandung, West Java. One agreement was signed between ITSEC Asia and PT INTI, while the second was signed between PT INTI and PT ITSEC Cyber Academy, the ITSEC Asia subsidiary operating as ITSEC Cyber & AI Academy.
The partnership is intended to explore cybersecurity opportunities involving state-owned enterprises and government institutions, combining cybersecurity technology and services with technical expertise and workforce development.
Patrick Dannacher, President Director of ITSEC Asia, said, “The need for cybersecurity capabilities in Indonesia continues to grow as digital technology becomes more widely adopted across sectors. Organisations need the ability to protect their infrastructure and data while ensuring they have the right people to manage those security capabilities. Through our collaboration with PT INTI, we want to explore how ITSEC Asia’s experience and expertise in cybersecurity can support the needs of state-owned enterprises and government institutions while creating opportunities to further develop cybersecurity solutions and capabilities in Indonesia.”
Under the agreement, ITSEC Asia will explore opportunities involving cybersecurity solutions and services, including SOC capabilities. Depending on project requirements, its support may include technical consulting, solution development, Proof of Concept (PoC) activities, product demonstrations, implementation, technical support and knowledge transfer.
PT INTI will support business development and engagement with prospective customers and strategic partners, particularly among state-owned enterprises, provincial governments and local governments. The companies will also explore using space at PT INTI’s headquarters for cybersecurity training and the development of related cybersecurity and SOC facilities.

The partnership also includes a focus on cybersecurity and AI education and training through ITSEC Cyber & AI Academy. The academy will support training, education, workshops, seminars and skills development programs based on organisational needs and opportunities identified with PT INTI.
The academy will contribute curricula, training materials and modules, along with experts, infrastructure and platforms for program delivery. PT INTI will assist with identifying opportunities and engaging prospective customers and strategic partners, including organisations in the government and state-owned enterprise sectors.

The companies said the partnership establishes an initial framework for exploring cybersecurity and skills development opportunities in Indonesia. Specific projects, including their technical, financial and commercial terms, will be governed by separate agreements.
