Jakarta, Indonesia – integrated interior and furnishing solutions provider VIVERE Group has selected Rimini Street’s third-party support services for its SAP environment as it seeks to maintain business continuity while reallocating internal IT resources toward digital transformation initiatives.
Rimini Street said VIVERE Group will use Rimini Support for SAP to strengthen support for its SAP ECC environment, which underpins the company’s project-based operations, manufacturing and distribution businesses.
Founded in 1984, PT Gema Graham Sarana Tbk (IDX: GEMA), the core company of VIVERE Group, has been listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange since 2002. The company currently operates SAP ECC 6 on IBM Db2 as a critical business platform.
According to Rimini Street, VIVERE reviewed its enterprise resource planning roadmap after facing the end of mainstream support for its SAP ECC system and pressure to migrate to SAP S/4HANA. Following consultations with Gartner and discussions with industry peers, the company decided to prioritize investments in innovation rather than undertake what it described as a costly and time-consuming migration.
“Our core philosophy is to keep people, quality and business continuity at the center of our technology decisions,” said Sutrisno Yao, Head of IT at VIVERE Group. “Technology should be a practical enabler that supports reliable operations, improves processes and strengthens the business without creating unnecessary disruption.”
VIVERE said it selected Rimini Street as its SAP support provider to gain cost savings, access to SAP expertise and flexibility to continue modernising its existing systems.
“Rimini Street gives us confidence that our SAP environment is well supported, while giving our internal team more room to focus on improvements that help the business move forward,” said Yao.
The company said its IT team is focusing on improving systems integration, strengthening process consistency and supporting broader digital transformation efforts as the business expands.
“Our initial goal was clear: protect business continuity, strengthen SAP support and free up our internal team to focus on higher-value priorities,” Yao noted. “Rimini Street helps my team spend less time firefighting SAP and more time supporting process improvements and higher-value business needs.”
Nancy Lyskawa, Executive Vice President and Chief Client Officer at Rimini Street, said organisations are increasingly seeking ways to lower operating costs while creating capacity for innovation.
“In today’s highly competitive, volatile market, lowering the cost to operate and freeing up capital and talent is no longer a choice,” said Nancy. “Forward-thinking companies such as VIVERE Group are choosing Rimini Street to not only create capacity for innovation, but to deliver it.”
