SAP appoints Verena Siow as president of Asia-Pacific region

Singapore – SAP has appointed Verena Siow as President for its Asia Pacific (APAC) region, effective immediately, the company announced on July 2.

Based in Singapore, Siow will oversee the company’s operations across the region with a focus on customer success, business transformation, and helping organisations maximise the value of their SAP technology investments.

Siow has nearly three decades of experience in the technology sector and has spent the past 15 years at SAP in various leadership roles. Most recently, she served as Business Suite Leader for Asia Pacific, where she was responsible for cloud growth and the end-to-end customer value journey. Before that, she was president and managing director for SAP Southeast Asia.

Siow said, “It’s a pivotal time to take the reins at SAP Asia Pacific. Our vision for the Autonomous Enterprise connecting data, processes, and people seamlessly, is delivering real outcomes for customers as they reinvent their businesses for the AI era.”

SAP said it operates market units across Australia and New Zealand, Greater China, India, Japan, Korea, and Southeast Asia.
