Singapore – Global procurement and supply chain consultancy Proxima is expanding its presence across Asia-Pacific as demand grows for procurement transformation and cost optimisation services in Southeast Asia.
The company said Singapore will continue to serve as its regional hub as it increases investment across ASEAN and Australia. As part of its regional growth strategy, Proxima plans to increase its Asia-Pacific headcount by 50% through 2027 while expanding consulting and operational capabilities across Southeast Asia and Australia.
According to the company, the expansion comes as businesses across Asia continue to face cost pressures, supply chain disruptions, changing trade flows, and rising demand for digital and operational resilience. Proxima said organisations are increasingly seeking procurement expertise to improve value creation, manage risks, and develop more agile operating models.
Over the past six months, the company has made several leadership appointments and promotions across Singapore, Malaysia, and Australia. These include the promotions of Chris Hampden in Singapore and Lara Mujico in Australia, aimed at strengthening regional leadership in client delivery and market development.
Chris Hampden, Senior Vice President, Southeast Asia at Proxima said, “Organisations across Southeast Asia are facing a more complex and fast-moving operating environment than ever before. Procurement and supply chain are increasingly central to how businesses manage cost, build resilience, and enable growth.
Our continued investment reflects both strong client demand and our long-term commitment to the region. By combining deep local expertise with Proxima’s global capabilities, we are well positioned to deliver practical, measurable outcomes for clients as they scale and transform their operations.”
Proxima said it continues to see growth across sectors including airlines, financial services, healthcare, telecommunications, technology, logistics, and manufacturing, particularly among organisations expanding their regional operations.
The company is also hiring across Asia and Australia, targeting procurement specialists and consultants with experience in areas such as technology, facilities management, logistics, and professional services.
