Singapore – Yuno, a global provider of payment orchestration technology, has expanded its footprint in the Asia-Pacific region through the establishment of a regional headquarters in Singapore and new operations in China.
The dual expansion is designed to reinforce the company’s regional presence and support merchants seeking to simplify cross-border transactions.
This development follows the company’s earlier moves in 2025, setting up headquarters in Qatar and London, extending its service reach across the Middle East and Europe.
“Our goal is to become the go-to partner for businesses navigating global payments,” Juan Pablo Ortega, co-founder and CEO of Yuna, commented.
“We are driving the change towards agentic commerce, proactively solving merchant issues, all without manual intervention. Our continued expansion in the APAC region will help businesses scale globally with confidence and efficiency.”
The choice of Singapore as Yuno’s regional hub reflects the city-state’s role as a major financial technology centre with advanced digital infrastructure, strong governance frameworks, and established industry networks.
Singapore’s ecosystem offers access to strategic alliances with financial institutions and payment providers, while also supporting industry collaboration through organisations such as the Singapore FinTech Association and Emerging Payment Association Asia.
Locating its hub in Singapore also enables Yuno to provide closer support to existing partners in the region, including NetEase Games, while strengthening its ability to deliver new services across Asia-Pacific.
The headquarters is expected to serve as a centre for collaboration, product development, and participation in regional industry initiatives.
By launching services in China, Yuno aims to equip local merchants with the tools to engage more effectively in global e-commerce. Its platform integrates over 1,000 payment methods and 450 providers across nearly 200 markets through a single interface.
“China is one of the world’s most advanced digital economies, and its merchants are increasingly going global,” SheueChee Beh, senior vice president and general manager of Yuno in APAC, explained.
“We’re proud to partner with Chinese brands to remove the friction in cross-border payments and help them scale confidently on the world stage.”
Yuno also introduced NOVA, an artificial intelligence-driven system designed to help businesses recover lost revenue from failed or abandoned transactions. The tool engages customers via automated calls and messaging applications, tailoring interactions across multiple languages and adjusting in real-time to consumer responses.
Founded by the creators of Latin American technology firm Rappi, Yuno has been developed to address the challenges of international payment complexity. The company now works with global brands including McDonald’s, Uber, GoFundMe, inDrive, NetEase Games, and Rappi.
Through its APAC expansion, Yuno aims to strengthen its position as a technology partner for businesses navigating international payments and scaling across digital markets.
