Vietnam – Toyota Motor Vietnam, an automobile manufacturing company, has recently announced that it has teamed up with Synology, aiming to enhance its data management infrastructure in response to the increasing demand for data storage and resiliency.

In this collaboration, the company has deployed the data management systems of Synology to securely store hundreds of terabytes of data generated from assembling over 10,000 vehicles annually.

With Synology’s high availability and remote data protection features, Toyota Motor Vietnam’s IT infrastructure has become more resilient and better equipped to withstand disruptions.

Talking about the initiative, Bui Ta Hoan, IT Division head at Toyota Motor Vietnam, commented, “Synology’s storage solution has increased our business resilience. Synology is reliable, secure, and provides future-proofing scalability for growing data needs.”

Jola Le, sales manager at Synology Vietnam, also said, “Synology solutions are widely adopted in the manufacturing industry for a few simple reasons. Its robustness and ease of use save our customers considerable time.”

“We’re proud to be able to transform and help modernise Toyota Motor Vietnam’s data management and protection needs,” Jola concluded.
