Singapore – TO THE NEW and CloudKeeper have appointed Somnath Adak as Group Chief Financial Officer (CFO), as the technology companies continue to expand their technology, cloud and AI businesses across global markets.
Singapore-headquartered TO THE NEW and CloudKeeper are affiliate entities under common ownership.
Based in Singapore, Adak will oversee the group’s finance and legal functions across operations in Singapore, India, the United States, the United Kingdom, the UAE and Australia.
He will work with the boards and leadership teams of both companies on the group’s legal structure and finance strategy.

Adak brings around 20 years of experience across finance, strategy and business leadership in India, Australia and Singapore. His previous roles have included senior positions with large and listed businesses.
Before joining TO THE NEW and CloudKeeper, he spent nine years with Singapore-listed Asian Pay Television Trust (APTT), including two years as CEO and seven years as CFO.
During his time at APTT, Adak worked with the board on debt reduction, balance sheet initiatives and the expansion of the company’s broadband business.
Adak is a Chartered Accountant and former Chairman of the ICAI Singapore Chapter. He holds an Executive MBA from INSEAD and is a Distinguished Alumnus of Shri Ram College of Commerce.
