Team Global Express taps HCLTech to deploy AI-led technology modernisation across ANZ logistics operations

Melbourne, Australia – Team Global Express has expanded its collaboration with HCLTech as part of a broader effort to modernise its technology environment and enhance operational performance through AI across its logistics network in Australia and New Zealand.

Under the extended arrangement, Team Global Express will streamline its previously fragmented IT ecosystem into a single strategic engagement, with HCLTech providing advisory and delivery capabilities to support efficiency gains, innovation, and improved use of operational data. The partnership reflects a shift towards a more integrated technology model designed to support the organisation’s evolving logistics requirements.

HCLTech will deliver comprehensive managed IT services covering enterprise applications, hybrid cloud platforms, network infrastructure, cybersecurity, digital workplace services, and IT service management. Its AI Force platform, which applies generative AI to service transformation, will be introduced to increase automation, strengthen regulatory compliance and improve service quality across Team Global Express’ operations.

“We are delighted to onboard HCLTech as our strategic technology partner,” Danny Gravell, chief innovation officer, Team Global Express, commented.

He added, “Their deep domain expertise, innovative approach and commitment to operational excellence will play a vital role in modernising our IT landscape and strengthening our ability to serve customers across Australia and New Zealand.”

The collaboration is intended to support long-term digital transformation objectives by enabling more resilient systems, enhanced customer experience and greater operational visibility across the logistics provider’s multimodal network. The initiative also aligns with broader industry trends towards AI-enabled decision-making and automation within large-scale transport and supply chain environments.

The agreement further strengthens HCLTech’s position within the enterprise technology services market, particularly in supporting complex digital transformation programmes for organisations operating across Australia and New Zealand.

“Our comprehensive suite of solutions, powered by advanced AI and automation, will enable Team Global Express to accelerate transformation, enhance customer experience and drive long-term value creation,” Sonia Eland, executive vice president and country manager for Australia and New Zealand at HCLTech, stated.

HCLTech operates globally across more than 60 countries, delivering technology services and products spanning AI, digital transformation, engineering, cloud and software solutions.
