Singapore – Simon-Kucher has appointed Eugene Macey as a partner in its Singapore office, reinforcing its digital leadership across the Asia-Pacific region. He will head the firm’s digital and customer advisory unit, known as Elevate, with a particular emphasis on financial services and consumer industries.
Eugene brings more than 20 years of advisory experience across APAC markets, supporting multinational and regional organisations in delivering customer-focused transformation and technology-enabled change.
His work has centred on identifying and quantifying growth potential, reshaping end-to-end customer journeys and partner ecosystems, modernising marketing, sales and service operations, and embedding digital capabilities into business models to drive commercial outcomes.
“I am excited to lead the Elevate practice across APAC and support our clients in reimagining customer experiences, advancing their digital, data, and AI capabilities, and delivering sustainable results in an increasingly complex environment,” Eugene shared.
“Simon-Kucher’s strong focus on innovative value creation and commercial impact deeply resonates with me.”
Eugene has extensive sector experience in banking, insurance and retail, alongside broader exposure to telecommunications, utilities, public sector organisations and life sciences. His professional focus includes converting strategic objectives into tangible performance improvements and supporting leadership teams in executing large-scale transformation programmes.
He is also recognised for developing leadership capability and fostering long-term executive partnerships.
“Eugene’s appointment significantly strengthens our digital and customer capabilities across APAC,” Jan Weiser, co-managing partner APAC at Simon-Kucher, commented.
“His deep expertise in enterprise digital transformation and innovative customer value proposition design will help our clients accelerate performance through digitally enabled, customer-centric strategies.”
Before joining Simon-Kucher, Eugene spent two decades at PwC, where he held senior regional and global roles. During this period, he contributed to the establishment and expansion of a front-office transformation practice in APAC and oversaw complex customer and digital transformation initiatives for major regional and international brands.
He also served as a lead client partner for key accounts within the financial services and consumer segments.
The appointment forms part of Simon-Kucher’s continued investment in senior expertise across APAC, as organisations in the region advance digital, data and AI-led transformation efforts aimed at achieving sustained commercial growth.
