Singapore – Seaco, a truck transportation company, has recently unveiled its selection of cybersecurity company Trend Micro as the company’s strategic security vendor to further support its security tooling consolidation strategy.
Following a comprehensive assessment process, the company has chosen Trend Micro for its holistic platform approach and its ability to provide AI-driven insights across diverse environments, including network, email, cloud, laptops, and servers.
Furthermore, the new partnership brings Seaco a unified cybersecurity platform that addresses challenges by offering comprehensive visibility across the entire security environment, AI-powered threat detection and response capabilities, as well as integrated security controls for cloud, endpoint, and network security.
It will also provide automated risk scoring and threat analysis, as well as simplified security management through a single console.
In the coming months, the company plans to employ Trend Micro’s platform to enhance its security operations centre capabilities and implement comprehensive security policies that can effectively protect assets ranging from customer-facing systems to internal crown jewel assets.
Damian Leach, CIO at Seaco, commented, “Trend Micro will enable us to meet our security demands whilst providing a unified cybersecurity platform for visibility across all our IT assets, simplifying our management approach. By leveraging the AI capability built into the Trend Vision OneTM platform, we can meet our human-in-the-loop decision-making strategy.”
“For example, the platform’s AI-powered telemetry analysis enables our security team to make faster decisions and identify root causes more efficiently, minimising the potential impact of security incidents,” added Leach.
Leach also said, “The focus Trend Micro has on the trilogy of people, data, and AI is crucial in interpreting requirements for cybersecurity operations teams, cyber defence experts, and executives alike. The platform’s user experience is intuitive and enables our teams to maximise its potential effectively.”
Meanwhile, David Ng, managing director of Singapore, Philippines, and Indonesia at Trend Micro, further remarked, “In today’s rapidly evolving threat landscape, organisations need more than just point solutions—they need a unified, intelligent security platform that can adapt and scale with their business.”
“Our partnership with Seaco demonstrates how our platform approach, powered by advanced AI capabilities, can help global enterprises simplify their security operations while strengthening their overall cyber resilience. We’re committed to supporting Seaco’s digital transformation journey by providing comprehensive protection across their entire digital ecosystem,” Ng concluded.
