Singapore – Saviynt has named Alex Lei as senior vice president of sales for Asia Pacific and Japan, with responsibility for directing regional sales operations as organisations increase spending on identity-focused cybersecurity.
Based in Singapore, he will oversee efforts to strengthen the company’s presence across the region amid growing demand driven by cloud adoption, AI initiatives and more complex digital environments.
“I am excited to join Saviynt at a time when organisations are rethinking how identity underpins security and digital transformation,” Alex shared.
“We are at the nexus of the digital revolution, where digital identity, identity security, and AI agents are becoming fundamental to enterprise resilience. Saviynt’s platform and vision position us strongly to support organisations across the fast-growing APJ market.”
In this position, Alex will manage customer acquisition, partner engagement and go-to-market activities throughout APJ. His responsibilities include supporting enterprises as they address shifting security requirements linked to rapid cloud migration, the expansion of AI-enabled applications and evolving cyber threats, while also broadening the company’s regional reach.
The appointment reflects a wider trend of organisations in the region prioritising identity security as part of digital transformation strategies and risk management frameworks.
“Alex has deep regional experience and a strong track record of building high-performing enterprise sales teams. His leadership will help us expand our presence and support customers navigating complex identity challenges,” Todd Rotger, chief revenue officer at Saviynt, commented.
“APJ is one of the fastest-growing regions for identity security as organisations modernise their digital infrastructure and adopt AI at scale.”
Alex brings experience in leading enterprise technology and cybersecurity sales teams across APJ. Prior to joining Saviynt, he held a senior sales leadership role at Ivanti, where he focused on regional growth and enterprise uptake of security and IT solutions.
Earlier in his career, he held senior positions at Proofpoint and Dell EMC, working with large organisations on cybersecurity and digital infrastructure initiatives.
