Singapore – Rapid7, a risk and threat detection firm, has recently introduced the company’s new PACT Partner Programme designed to equip partners with tools, training and resources needed to address the expanding security needs of customers.

Along with the launch, the company also promoted David Quist to Director of Channel Sales APJ, complementing its efforts to support partners in Australia, New Zealand, and across the Asia-Pacific and Japan region.

PACT aims to offer a supportive and structured programme for partners and help customers take command of their attack surface.

To achieve this, the initiative will collaborate with the full channel community, including resellers, distributors, systems integrators and service providers. Rapid7 will then enable partners through a modernised Partner Portal, customise their engagement programmes and specialisations, and an all-new Partner Training Academy.

With new tiers and classifications, the programme will unite and empower all partners within a single, cohesive framework. This strategic model offers customised engagement opportunities and establishes transparent performance expectations.

Valuable tier benefits will recognise and reward success, enhancing profitability and growth.

Key elements of the programme include Rapid7’s modernised and expanded Partner Portal, providing partners deeper engagement and seamless, real-time collaboration with the company through a redesigned interface.

This interface provides training and automation to support the entire customer lifecycle, including self-service quote access and renewal dashboards, to learning paths aligned to specific points in the sales process and customer lifecycle.

Another key element is the company’s unified platform that seamlessly combines proactive and reactive cyber risk management solutions. Through this, partners can gain access to two new PACT specialisations, MSSP Specialisation and Service Delivery Specialisation, for an enhanced suite of tech resources and operational efficiencies, with simplified pricing models launching later this year.

Lastly, it also offers an all-new Partner Training Academy aimed at equipping partners with practical skills and technical knowledge to enhance customer value.

Championing a mission to elevate partners’ confidence in positioning solutions to match customer needs, the Partner Academy provides a variety of competency-based courses and certifications.

Courses are specifically tailored for sales and pre-sales technical roles, complemented by specialised curricula that equip partners to independently provide post-sales services.

Rob Dooley, APJ vice president and general manager at Rapid7, said, “Our new PACT Program is the result of listening to and working collaboratively with our partner community to best understand their business challenges and opportunities.”

“This significant program update ensures our partners are enabled and supported to drive maximum impact in line with their near- and long-term business objectives,” added Dooley.

Meanwhile, Quist, as the newly promoted director of channel sales, boasts over 25 years of experience in the Australian and New Zealand technology sector. He also worked with international and local vendors such as Dimension Data, Symantec, and Nuix.

Throughout his six years at Rapid7, he also served as the Senior Manager of the Southern Region Sales, ANZ for more than three years.

Speaking about the appointment, Quist remarked, “Customers across the APJ region face a variety of significant cyber security challenges. For our partners, this threat landscape provides a multitude of growth opportunities, driven by the need for organisations to take command of their attack surface and defend against complex and sophisticated cyber threats.

“I’m looking forward to supporting that growth and ensuring our partners get the best out of our new PACT Program to ensure their continued success,” he further shared.

Dooley also noted, “To coincide with the PACT Program launch, I’m delighted to announce the promotion of David Quist, who has been leading our sales team in Australia and New Zealand, to Director of Channel Sales, APJ. David’s knowledge and experience will be instrumental in supporting our channel ecosystem, enabling their growth, and supporting our mutual customers.”
