Singapore – Qualtrics has appointed Jason Maynard as chief executive officer, effective immediately, where he will also be joining the company’s Board of Directors. The appointment follows a period of interim leadership and comes as the organisation continues to expand its focus on AI and experience management solutions.
Jason brings three decades of experience across enterprise software, capital markets and high-growth technology companies. He is expected to oversee Qualtrics’ strategy as organisations increasingly adopt AI-enabled tools to analyse customer, employee and market insights, improve decision-making and drive operational efficiencies.
His appointment coincides with the company’s continued investment in AI capabilities, including its proposed acquisition of Press Ganey, valued at US$6.75b.
“This is a rare opportunity to lead the company that created its category and build on that foundation with innovation, execution, and a relentless focus on delivering real impact for our customers,” Jason shared.
He added, “Qualtrics invented Experience Management, and with AI at the core of modern business, the ability to understand human experience and act on what matters in context is more important than ever.”
Prior to joining Qualtrics, Jason served as executive vice president of revenue operations at Oracle. Earlier in his career, he spent 15 years as a senior equity research analyst at Merrill Lynch, Credit Suisse and Wells Fargo, focusing on the software and internet sectors and analysing early shifts towards cloud computing.
Qualtrics has reported growing adoption of its AI-driven offerings, with close to half of its customers having upgraded to these capabilities. The company is seeking to broaden uptake further to support organisations in strengthening customer loyalty, reducing churn, enhancing employee engagement and accelerating access to actionable insights.
“Jason has scaled one of the most successful cloud businesses, built products customers depend on, and has a sharp perspective on where AI is taking our industry,” Jim Whitehurst, executive chairman of Qualtrics, stated.
“That’s a powerful combination that will take Qualtrics, our category, and the value we deliver to customers to the next level.”
In his new role, Jason is expected to prioritise engagement with customers, partners and employees to assess current performance and identify opportunities to enhance value delivery, building on the foundations established by Qualtrics’ leadership and broader ecosystem.
