Singapore – PagerDuty, Inc. has appointed John DiLullo as Chief Executive Officer, effective 11 May 2026, as part of a planned leadership transition. He succeeds Jennifer Tejada, CEO & Chairperson of PagerDuty, who has led the company since 2016 and has moved into the role of executive chair of the board.
The change followed a succession process overseen by the board and existing leadership. Jennifer is expected to work alongside John during the handover period to support continuity and the delivery of PagerDuty’s longer-term business plans.
“I am honoured to join PagerDuty at such an exciting time in the Company’s journey, ” John shared.
“We are entering a period where AI-enabled software development and increasingly complex digital environments will significantly expand the need for intelligent, real-time operations management.”
John brings more than 25 years of experience in enterprise software, cloud computing and cybersecurity. Most recently, he served as chief executive of Deepwatch, where he led operational changes aimed at repositioning the business for future growth. He has also previously held chief executive roles at LiveVox and Lastline.
“Leading PagerDuty over the past decade has been an extraordinary journey and the highlight of my career. I am confident this is the right time for this transition, and that John is the right leader to guide PagerDuty through its next phase of growth.” Jennifer commented.
“In my role as Executive Chair, I look forward to partnering with John, our leadership team and the Board to continue building on our strong momentum.”
Under Jennifer’s leadership, the company expanded from an early-stage business into a publicly listed international software company, with the customer base growing to more than 35,000 organisations. The company also completed its initial public offering in 2019 and widened its presence across Asia-Pacific, Europe, the Middle East, Africa, Japan and the US public sector.
The transition comes as PagerDuty seeks to build on recent operating performance, including customer retention, business expansion, and the continued development of its AI-focused operations platform.
PagerDuty’s board mentioned that John was selected following a detailed review process and cited his combination of technical, commercial and leadership experience as key factors in the decision.
