Sydney, Australia – Fastly has appointed Bruce Bennie as Area Vice President for Australia and New Zealand, with responsibility for the company’s operations across both markets.
Based in Sydney, Bruce will oversee regional business activities with an emphasis on expanding revenue, strengthening relationships with customers and partners, supporting product-led innovation, and contributing to the company’s continued growth strategy in the region.
He joins the business with more than three decades of experience in IT sales and management within the Australian and New Zealand technology and telecommunications sectors. His background includes work across telecommunications, financial services and government-related industries, alongside advisory roles for venture capital-backed businesses and publicly listed firms.

The appointment forms part of Fastly’s broader regional plans as demand grows for edge cloud services, cybersecurity capabilities, AI-ready infrastructure and low-latency digital delivery.
